About the Speaker:

Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN)

Champika is the Regional Security, Stability and Resiliency (SSR) Engagement Manager (APAC) at Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), the global body that coordinates Internet’s unique identifiers across the world. He is part of ICANN’s Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) Team and represents ICANN in Security, Technical, Law Enforcement and Capacity Building forums in the APCA region. Prior to ICANN, Champika held managerial, specialist and liaison roles at the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), the Regional Internet Registry for the Asia and Pacific. Champika started his career with IBM Corporation as a technical specialist and later worked in IT Industry, academia, research, and training environments.

Yangon International University (YIU) is registered under Myanmar company registration act in 2018. YIU aims to become a university with international characters and will be launched as a medium size premium private university with international standards.
